You participated last year, so Let's Do It Again! 

With April 28th fast approaching it is time to put our team together again. Our goal this year is $15,000 and 100 runners. 

The Relay For Life will be at the Ashley High School Track from Friday April 28th at 6:00pm to Saturday April 29th at 9:30am - come and join us, run several laps, raise some money and get your workout in.

Several Relay for Life events are planned over the next several weeks:

• Feb 26th River to the Sea - we will have a donation box at the start and at the finish.
  
• Feb 28th Downtown Mardi Gras Run and pizza night - donation box will be there.
  
• March 11th Sat morning long run at the Fleet Feet Pancake Run - donations accepted there.
  

We need everyone's support this year if we are going to make our goal of $15,000 - join online today and come out and run with us.

Cancer continues to affect the lives of everyday people here in Southeastern, NC. All of us know someone that has been touched by Cancer – a family member, a neighbor, someone at work or a friend and maybe even a fellow runner. The American Cancer Society’s goal is to have more people survive cancer so they can celebrate another birthday. 

What a major accomplishment for our Club. Not only can we compete in any cross country meet, but we can pull together and raise a HUGE amount of money for a very worthy cause. Cancer touches us all. Only by working together will we finish the fight. Thanks in advance to all who participated and all for their generous donations.

Wilmington Road Runners Club will have a tent set up for the event with food and drinks and a place to gather. Come and plan your workout on the track. You don’t have to stay for the whole event, pick a time and come out and run with us during that time and then you are done. Last year we had some members that covered 13.1 miles or more. We need your help. 

For those that participate and raise money you will get Grand Prix points and the satisfaction of supporting a very worthy cause just by running around the track. Please consider joining us or donating today!
