It is that time people! The annual Survival Run at Carolina Beach State Park will be held Sunday January 21 at 8:30. The park opens at 7 am and the visitors center opens at 8 am. Registration will open this weekend on the WRRC website. You must be a club member to run this event. Registration is FREE, but you must be registered so we know how much food to get.

Look at the picture. The park is not really that big. Why is it that people get lost every year? I guess you just have to run to see.

Greg Zinner will be mildly marking the two distances again this year. We will have two distance options - about 4 miles and about 9 miles. Breakfast in the visitors center to follow. We are so lucky to have CB State Park support this run by allowing us to use the trails and the visitor center. WRRC provides support to CB State Park with proceeds from our Turkey Trot the Saturday after Thanksgiving.
