Join WRRC for the Spring Thing 5K run at UNCW on Sunday, March 20th in support of the Community Boys & Girls Club's Optimism Oasis-Field of Dreams. The field of dreams is an outdoor track facility (and much more) It's the vision of our own backwards runner Tracy McCullen. As a leading organization in the Port City running community we want to encourage kids to become runners so lets help get the project moving. The vision is much bigger than us but the goal is to keep it in the spotlight so that it gets the attention of organizations with the resources to help get it built. The race will be a scenic tour of the UNCW campus. It's a flat and fast course. We'll serve Krispy Creme donuts and coffee after the race.
