Founded in 1977, the Wilmington Road Runners Club is one of the oldest continuously operating clubs in North Carolina. Our 400+ members run the gamut from speedy racers to occasional joggers, bonded by the simple pleasure of putting one foot ahead of the other on the roads and trails of New Hanover County... and beyond.

Annual memberships are available for individuals, families, and students.

Membership benefits include:

Being connected with a great and diverse group of local runners
Free pizza night once a month, after the Tuesday Hill Run, the first week of every month
Participation in special club events and our annual holiday party
Discounts on various local races
Participation in the annual Grand Prix racing series
Email newsletter with club news and updates on upcoming events
Your membership fee also automatically makes you a member of our umbrella organization, the Road Runners Club of America (RRCA).

Your membership is good for a full year. The club employs a rolling membership plan that you renew on the anniversary of the date you joined. Unlike some other organizations, you won't miss out on anything or be short changed by joining now.

Remember that the WRRC is your Club, if you choose to make it so. We encourage you to join group runs, get to know your running community, volunteer at local races and WRRC events, and to attend Board meetings. Most of all we look forward to running with you.
